Online Travel has been one of the first commercial successes of the Internet. So, there are a lot of fare finding search engines out there. Everybody knows about Aerlingus, Ryanair and Ebookers. Indeed there are dozens of other such services serving the Irish market alone. It's not too difficult to find bargain flights out of Ireland because of this.
One thing though, that most people in the Travel Industry know, is that flight prices can vary substantially from day to day and week to week. So, let's say you knew you were going to fly to Malaga in march, but you didnt care what date you departed on. To look for the cheapest deal on any of these sites you would have to manually enter all combinations of dates that you can think of within that month. A tiresome task indeed.
It looks like, I've found the answer though. I got it from the latest post on Techcrunch of all places.

This site has a function that graphs out the departing and return flight prices for a whole month, so you can see at a glance what the best price combinations are. Check out the graph for cork-malaga in March with Aer Lingus.
UPDATE
Perhaps I jumped the gun a bit on this one. In theory it looks great, but I tried booking cork malaga and all I got was error messages. Will have to have a closer look at it.
